Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Call Centre Agent to drive sales, enhance customer engagement, and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will proactively engage with customers, promote products, and contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Sales:

    • Contact existing and inactive customers to place and accurately capture orders.

    • Promote product deals, category drives, and upsell to maximize sales opportunities.

    • Actively sell a larger basket of goods through persuasive and professional communication.

  • Customer Support & Relationship Management:

    • Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

    • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high service standards.

    • Update customer records and order details in the system accurately.

  • Team Collaboration & Performance:

    • Support the Key Sales team by engaging customers in outlying areas with limited sales representation.

    • Work closely with internal teams to optimize order processing and logistics.

    • Meet or exceed sales and performance targets set by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and sales abilities.

    • Professional telephone etiquette and customer-centric approach.

    • Problem-solving, conflict management, and attentive listening skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, typing, and system navigation.

    • Strong organizational, time-management, and administrative skills.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
